PERFORMANCE UNDER SAIL

  • Reduced drag: When feathered, the blades align with the water flow, greatly reducing resistance compared to a fixed prop. This can add up to 1.5 knots of boat speed under sail.
  • Improved pointing ability: Less drag means better upwind performance and efficiency.

PERFORMANCE UNDER POWER

  • Strong thrust forward & astern: Unlike folding props (which can be weaker in reverse), Hydralign feathering props provide nearly equal efficiency in both directions. This makes manoeuvring in tight marinas much easier.
  • Better fuel efficiency: The efficient blade design reduces load on the engine, lowering fuel consumption.

CUSTOMISATION
